Lift out Filter A
With the charger disconnected and trigger released, pinch the small handle and lift Filter A out of the top of the cyclone. Set the electrical body away from the sink.
Look for: The entire filter lifts out; stop if the shape or release differs.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersRinse the outside
Run cold water over the outside of Filter A until the runoff is clear. Keep detergent and scented products away from the filter.
Look for: Rinse water has cleared; this is the outside-rinse method for Filter A.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersRemove excess water
Squeeze and twist the filter with both hands to expel excess water. Keep the electrical body and cyclone dry.
Look for: Excess water has been expelled before air-drying begins.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersStart the drying record
Leave Filter A to air-dry and record the drying start below. Allow at least 24 hours. Keep it away from a dishwasher, washing machine, dryer, oven, microwave or naked flame.
Look for: The filter remains outside the machine throughout drying.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersConfirm complete dryness
After at least 24 hours, check the whole filter for remaining moisture. If any part is damp or you are unsure, leave it out and allow more time. Confirm dryness only when it is completely dry.
Look for: Elapsed time and complete dryness must both be satisfied.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersRefit the dry filter
Place the fully dry Filter A back into the top of the machine and check it is seated correctly. Keep the vacuum stopped until Filter B and the bin are also fitted and dry.
Look for: The pinch handle is seated in its normal position without force.
Manual: p11 Washing the filters; Washing Filter A; p9 Wash filtersCheck the next filter
Record the condition of Filter B and follow its own wash task if needed. Keep the machine stopped until Filter B and the bin are also dry and correctly fitted; this task records Filter A care only.
Look for: A clean top filter does not remove the rear filter’s drying requirement.
Manual: p11 Vacuuming; Washing the filters; p12 Looking for blockages
5. Keep your result
Record what you observed. A completed checklist does not certify that equipment is repaired.
When to check again
Regular filter care; check sooner after fine dust or intensive use.
Wash both filters at least once a month; more frequent washing may be needed with fine dust, intensive use or mainly Powerful suction mode.
